I found an old SAP BO KB for the similar symptom and error on 1703930 - XI 3.1 - DeskI & Designer "(IRepoAccess::retrieveAuthModeInfos) Internal error: Unable to initialize the session manager.(hr=#0x8000ffff)". No authentication method available in ImportWizard on http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1703930.
The resolution is to
Set the RequestPortLower to 0
Set the RequestPortUpper to 65535 in decimal or FFFF in hexadecimal
If this is still not helping, Guy's resinstall approach may be the last resort.

My company have 3 distribution channels Wholesales, Retail and Internet. Each of them sell unique products, but in some portion their portfolio is overlapping. Each of this distribution channels are independent departments and each of them define own credit limits for the customers. Management want to have one credit control area for reporting purposes.
One customer can buy from one or more distribution channels. If for example X Inc, buy from Wholesales they should have 100,000.00$ credit limit, but if they buy from Internet they should have 10,000.00$. Each of this credit limits need to be independent, but in reports everything should be summarized.

Re: WEBI reports do not open in launchpad, if end user is not given access to web based WEBI application in Launchpad - BOBJ 4.1 SP2
So the "Preferences" link in Launchpad is now seen by the end user.
The problem is that when User clicks on Preferences link, it opens a window with General, Web intelligence, BI workspaces and Crfystal reprots in the tree menu.
When user clicks Web Intelligence, it gives a messae "You do not have the right to execute this action"
At this point the user does not have access to WEBI application from the Launchpad "My applications" area.
But if I go to CMC ->Applications and change the security for WEBI to View, then the end user sees the WEBI application in Launchpad, as well as the ability to change the Web Intelligence settings from Preferences" link in Launchpad. Now if I change the View to "HTML", the user can see the WEBI report without the Java error as Applet is now required to download anymore.
So it looks like WEBI application is mandatory in Launchpad My Appplications, for the end user to be able to change the preferences of how the WEBI reprot is displayed.
Please advise if anyone ran into the similar situation.
Is WEBI application in Launchpad mandatory for "Preferences" link to allow changing WEBI report display settings.
Any thoughts please.

Mouse Scroll does not work in graphical view in Network CN22/CJ20N
I recently switched from Windows XP to Windows 7 and now my mouse will not scroll in the graphical view of CN22/CJ20N. I have the same gui installed: 730.
The scroll would only work on the XP machine when I was running the Logitech Setpoint 4.00 software. Under the same software I rolled back the drivers to standard Microsoft drivers and it still worked. I also used different mice (brand, wired, bluetooth) and it would function. When I turned off the Logitech Setpoint software it would no longer function. I upgraded to a newer version of Logitech Setpoint 4.80 and the mouse scroll did not function.
It seems that only Setpoint 4.00 works and I cannot find nor do they have 4.00 for Windows 7.
What can I do to get the mouse scroll to work in the graphical view of CN22/CJ20N on my Windows 7 Machine?
Video will show functionality of mouse scroll with and without Setpoint 4.00

Utilise your constant table t511k, I use constants delimited by date, holding a different value which my pcr can refer to as to how to proceed in the rule. Ie, if constant = 1, process pcr x, if constant = 2, process pcr y. This way development of new calculations is easier to manage, especially if you anticipate the requirement changing in the future!
This way, retrospectively your pcr can process bonuses bi-yearly and moving forward, your pcr can then generate them quarterly. If your really on the ball, you could use the same bi-yearly rule but process it on a quarterly basis...
But, some more background to your requirements would be helpful.

The planning strategy assigned to the material master has a higher priority than the planning strategy assigned to the MRP Group.
Therefore, you can simply assign the desired planning strategy directly to the material master on tab MRP3.

NFe 3.10 - XML ainda sendo gerado na versão 2.00
Boa noite pessoal!
Fizemos as atualizações nos sistemas e aplicamos do arquivo .SAR no ECC, Support Package 16 no GRC/PI, fizemos customizing no ECC e no GRC mas quando a NFe é gerada na nova versão, as tags do XML onde a versão é informada ainda estão saindo como 2.00.
Nos passos de customizing no GRC, fizemos conforme o Help:
Settings for NF-e Layout 3.10+
- NF-e: Maintain Connected Government Systems
- NF-e: Maintain Version of Message Types
- NF-e: Define Query for Service Status for Authority (SEFAZ)
- NF-e: Maintain Batch Parameters
Fazendo um DEBUG, o campo XMLVERS está sendo preenchido no ECC com a versão 3.10 corretamente.
O que percebi (e talvez possa ter algo a ver) é que nos customizings do GRC não tem nenhum campo onde informar que a versão 3.10 refere-se ao namespace http://sap.com/xi/NFE/008 como em algumas configurações das versões anteriores onde era possível selecionar Versão 005a ou 006. Existe alguma outra configuração que tem que ser feita fora essas que comentei?

Thanks for your feedback, that's how I've updated the service password. However, with the help of SAP, I have discovered that:
1. The user AD user account did not have permission to access the relay server - gave the user full control
2. The relay server service was recreated in attempts to fix this issue, during the recreation of the relay server in cmd, the log path specified was incorrectly - changed the path in: regedit-->control_set01->service->paramaeters
Now I am currently configuring Afaria to communicate with the relay server.
